Many performance improvements have been added over the years.


Exterior...
6-7/10 considering its age. No major accidents - some minor dents and dings have been repaired over the years. Some rust spots (mostly around rear wheels, rear window and trunk. Nothing too major. Frame is solid. It was repainted years ago. New snowflake rims from Year One about 5 years ago. New tires (less than 100 miles on them). T-tops. Fog lights.


Interior...
Original black velour interior. Shows wear, but no tears. Carpet was replaced and is in decent condition. B&M Slapstick shifter. Newer Sony stereo. Power windows work, but are slow and stick. Weatherstripping is worn.


Mechanical...
Engine: ... has a 455 block equipped with a fully balanced Arma Steel crank from a 428 (reduces stroke slightly to allow a higher redline)., Ram air III heads. (Compression is about 10:1. Runs on super unleaded.), Variable duration lifters, High performance cam, Sealed Power forged pistons, High volume oil pump.,.... .Heater core is bypassed (because it leaks) .Electric fan doesn't cycle off . Not currently registered


Notes...
1978 Trans Am T-Top . The 455 engine was rebuilt about 40,000 miles ago and runs well. Has many new high performance parts including : THM400 racing transmission from Summit , B&M slapstick shifter , Polyurethane bushings , Electric fan , Dual batteries , Hooker headers , and Edelbrock performer dual-plane aluminum intake .... ALSO: ...New Snowflake wheels from Year One ...New tires (less than 100 miles on them) ...New dual exhaust with chrome tips ...Brand New aluminum radiator ...New Q-jet carb . . Located in California for the past 30 years. Approx. 101,000 miles. never been in a major accident. Body has been repainted. This car is in moderately good condition and runs well. Has a Sony stereo and comes with Lots of extra parts including: Front fairings (not installed) , Rear louvers (not installed) , Old NOS Big Shot nitrous system not connected .
