Features... Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tachometer, Seat Belts
Restoration... Restored: 8 yrs ago
Older but fairly thorough restoration if not a frame off. A lot of money went into
this car to replace all the rubber and even the cat whiskers in the doors, Along with the paint,
Bodywork, new interior and the well-functioning drivetrain. The frame and all undercarriage
components are sanded and painted.
Exterior... Bodywork looks really nice except for a few dimples on the left
hand side fender at the top and immediately adjacent on the hood on the left hand side as if something
dropped from the garage Loft onto the vehicle in that area. Not highly noticeable except at a shallow
angle. The paint is very nice all around but is showing some blistering primarily at the vinyl top area
on the right hand side. The trunk shows some Rust but mostly surface rust. The car was restored and
then subsequently stored in a garage near the Pacific Ocean.
Interior... The interior is almost as new with perfect black vinyl seats, new carpets, 442 mats and the
headliner is in great condition. Dash as some cracking and has a small repair to ignition
section of dashboard . It could use a few interior repairs but
95% of the interior is new. The electrical components of the dash are not working except for the
headlights.
Mechanical... Speedo works. Odometer works. Blinkers and lights work (New OEM). Dash illuminates. Interior lights work. . New ignition switch.
New windshield motor but
linkage needs adjustments. Heater works . Aftermarket gauges work. New alternator and battery. New oil pressure sending unit.
Notes... 1967 CUTLASS 442, 455 CID V8 big block engine , TH400 3 speed automatic transmission ,
power steering , front power disc brakes . A great looking car and a real head turner. Louvered hood, classic
Cragar wheels, and all the correct tri-color 442 badging. The quality modern respray of the
original Antique Pewter with the black vinyl roof sets this car apart. Whilst this is an older
restoration it still shows very nicely .
The interior is almost as new with perfect black vinyl seats, new carpets, 442 mats and
tight headliner .
The motor has been upgraded to an Oldsmobile 455 cid built by Mondello (Mr Olds) with a
four-barrel carburetor and a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The original
TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is strong enough to handle all the power with
smooth shifts.
All in all a nice car that is a number 3 that with some work and not too much expense could
be a number two. The engine runs strong and has plenty of horsepower!
