Restoration...
Restored: 1981
the motor was rebuilt completely: valves, lifters, crank, cam shaft etc. brakes and front end redone. New fuel and brake lines. new Holley carb . rebuilt drive shaft, new tires.
New interior to factory specs. Electronic ignition(no more points to worry about). Hurst competition shifter. High torque starter. new windshield and back window. Re-painted factory color ERMINE WHITE ( three coats of acrylic lacquer on the car. no clear) . The paint still looks very good.
Driven only in good weather and the car has always been garaged. all new body chrome moldings, new bumpers front and rear, re-chromed: valve covers, air cleaner bonnet, dip stick etc.
Added 1963 G.M. options include: Front and rear bumper guards, dash pad, Gas door guard, Locking gas cap, 4-way flashers, Tissue dispenser with original tissues, Vanity visor mirror with comb, G.M. fire extinguisher, Vacuum trunk opener, Illuminated Compass and a very rare AM/FM radio.
New fuel pump,brake master cylinder (bled all 4 brakes),new heater core,Rebuilt Holley carb.,new valve cover and exhaust gaskets, drained radiator, new plug wires and plugs. Replaced entire exhaust system both sides, Replaced headliner.
Exterior...
The Chevy was painted about thirty years ago. The paint is holding up pretty despite the age. There are very small chips in the body. There is some rust on the bumpers. Car stored in a garage.
Interior...
The interior shows some age since the interior was changed about 32 years ago. There is a small tear behind one of the bucket seats.
Mechanical...
The Chevy drives well and the engine transmission and drive train are all in good working order.
Notes...
older restoration. Still in great shape.
