Restoration...
Restored: between 1996 and 2006
Frame on but total resto otherwise. new paint and upholstery. Upholstery done in stock pattern using upgraded materials. Restored dash with SS instrument cluster. Has Vintage Air heat/air/defrost system, seat belts front and rear. New trim and arm rests in side. All exterior aluminum trim is new and are some of the lenses. Bumpers have fresh chrome. New chrome rallye wheels with new tires. The undercarriage is where most of the upgrades have happened. Has new power dual brake system with discs on the front and new rear drum system on rear. 350hp/327 engine w/350 hydraulic cam and 2.02 fuelie heads hooked to a fresh TH350 automatic trans. There are new axles in the stock 10 bolt rearend. The rear is supported by 1 1/2" dropped Quickor coils and new tube control arms. There are new Monroe shocks all around. The front also has 1 1/2" dropped Quickor coils. There are also Quickor swaybars front and rear. The front suspension has been rebuilt using urethane bushings. Under the hood has been detailed to the max. The entire engine compartment has been smoothed and painted the same color as the outside of the body. The block and heads have also been ground and painted body color. It has polished aluminum air cleaner, valve covers, A/C compressor and alternator. All the plumbing is polished stainless including the vacuum lines, brake lines and fuel line on the engine. Custom built panels to fit between the core support and grill to cover the gap.
Exterior...
The exterior is strait as a string. The paint is new and is a mid 90's Chrysler blue base/clear. The color is very close to the original blue from the 1965 Chevelles.
Interior...
The interior is new. The headliner is a new cloth one made in the same pattern as the original vinyl one. The seats are new covered in a combination of cloth and vinyl to compliment the paint color. The carpet is also new.
Mechanical...
The drivetrain is all fresh. Car is a pleasure to drive and performs well. With all the suspension upgrades, it handles like a Corvette.
