Notes...
The best way to get into an Olds convertible is with the always-wonderful Cutlass Supreme. While not quite a match for the 442 in terms of straight-line speed, this 1969 Cutlass Supreme convertible offers V8 power 455, a ton of luxury options, and the same handsome good looks as its big brother, all at a price thats a fraction of the 442s. The recipient of a frame-off restoration about 3 years in the making, this Cutlass Supreme ragtop certainly looks the part of a muscle car, thanks to silver stripes that emulate the 442s look. It seems that this was a straight, clean southern car when work started, so rust was minimal, with good panel fit throughout, a hallmark of Oldsmobiles from this era. The overall look is crisp and clean, with a minimum of ornamentation that would otherwise distract you from the handsome silhouette, particularly the kick-up behind the doors. Much of the chrome was refreshed at the same time, with bright bumpers and a very nicely preserved egg crate grille from a 1969 model. I put 442 badges because some parts were off a wreaked 442 its a cutlass S thus a clean clone. Full frame restoration I have receipts and pictures of the whole process took me 3 years restoration was done by www.soscustomz.com. There is so much parts to list but when you see the car you are able to appreciate it all. New qrt panels, fender panels, full floor pans, all parts are original reproduction from OPGI which also includes everything needed for restoration. Car is equipped with AC unit but compressor is off I have it. Motor was rebuilt a 455 with C stamped heads Edelbrock Torker Manifold and Carb w/ electronic choke. TH400 Transmission , 12 bolt rear end, new suspension stock components , fuel/brake lines, Front disc brakes, big radiator w/electric fans, + more. The car was painted with House of Kolor Gm Silver Base coat and Kandy Apple Red GM with racing stripes. All the chrome has been re dipped or bought new. New canvas w/ glass Top Robbins new seals. Top of the line Pioneer Sound system door speakers and rear seat speakers and 2x 12" woofers in trunk. Wheels are unique they are Foose 18" front and 20" rear making it look like a Hot Wheels Car but can be changed to your liking( might put some dip dish so it sits lower) This car is a real head turner no matter where you go. >>>>>> See all the details and 250 more cool classics at ClassicCarGuy.com offering Nationwide Pre-purchase Inspections, Worldwide Shipping, Escrow Services and Free Locator Service. <<<<<<
