80% RESTORED - TOO MANY NEW/REBUILT PARTS TO LIST !!!! FRAME-OFF RESTORATION !!
This frame off restoration started off as a grandfather-father-son project. Due to lack of time AND money this car has to go!
2. It comes with a COMPLETE interior kit with the headliner already installed. The bucket seats & rear seat are also already upholstered. The rest of the interior includes all new door panels, dash pad, carpet, package tray, speakers, etc. All of the black, hard plastic paneling (kick panels, seat backs, console, etc. have have been sprayed the correct low sheen, interior SEM paint/dye, not to change the already black plastic color, but used to freshen up the interior.
3. There is ABSOLUTELY no rust @ the firewall, cowl, hinge/door area or ANYWHERE!
4. It has headers on it right now but the stock/factory exhaust manifolds are also included.
Exterior...
2 YEAR REPAINT, WILL NEED TO BE RETOUCHED IN SOME AREAS DUE TO "MISHAPS" DURING REASSEMBLY.
Interior...
ALL NEW INTERIOR KIT.
Mechanical...
396, 4BBL., TH400 WITH ALL THE SS CHASSIS OPTIONS.
Notes...
It's a true SS, the only difference is the bucket seats and track brackets - it originaly had a bench seat. Some SSs were ordered that way - why? who knows? This rust free car has been in California since it was built in Texas. Only 3 confirmed owners. NO floor pans were needed so NONE were replaced. All of the external sheet metal also original. The ORIGINAL floor still has the factory red oxide primer (brown primer). The gray primer touch ups are due to the tight working area resulting in accidently scratches. NO dents or rust! The A/C is not hooked up - e the compressor and brackets are present but the original hoses & condensor were not worth reusing since they are reproduced. Note: Everything needed to complete the restoration like the bumpers, rubbers, moldings/trim, interior/upholstery, etc. go with this car. Due to lack of time AND money this car has to go!
