Notes...
OWN A PIECE OF AMERICAN HISTORY Here is a great KBI truck. It was originally repainted about 10 years ago. I have many pictures of the truck before it was repainted. There was no rust on the truck except for a small hole where the fender was attached to the running board on the driver's side which was subsequently metal patched. The wiring has all been replace with NOS wiring. The bottom of the front seat is NOS. The brakes and all the brake hardware have been replaced. The motor has not been repainted. That is the original paint that you see on the motor. It has a Knox box on the back that is in very good shape. The top surfaces of the bed boards are weathered but the bottom sides are in fair condition. All rubber door, window, and gas tank seals have been replaces. All the gauges and both electric windshield wipers work. The truck has a 3-speed column shift. The rear end gears have been replaced with new 37:1 gears (I think). The original 231 Green Diamond motor has 20,000 original miles on it and purrs like a kitten. The tires have a lot of tread left on them, but are old and starting to show signs of cracking. I originally bought this truck to turn into a street rod but decided that is far too nice of a vehicle to cut up or modify. I would prefer that it be purchased by someone interested in displaying it in an automobile or truck dealer showroom.
